Responsible AI Use

bitHuman is committed to the responsible development and deployment of AI technology. We expect all users to use our platform ethically and in ways that benefit society.

Prohibited Content

You may not use our Services to create, distribute, or facilitate:

Harmful Content

  • Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content sexualizing minors
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Content that promotes eating disorders or dangerous activities

Deceptive Content

  • Deepfakes or synthetic media intended to deceive
  • Impersonation of real individuals without consent
  • Fake testimonials or reviews
  • Misinformation or disinformation campaigns
  • Content designed to manipulate democratic processes

Illegal Content

  • Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Content that facilitates illegal activities
  • Content that violates export control laws

Discriminatory Content

  • Content that promotes hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Content that harasses, bullies, or intimidates individuals or groups

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or usage restrictions
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our models or algorithms
  • Use automated systems to access our Services in violation of our Terms
  • Resell or redistribute our Services without authorization
  • Use our Services to develop competing AI products
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our Services
  • Access or use our Services to benchmark or test for competitive purposes

Disclosure Requirements

When deploying avatars or agents created with bitHuman in public-facing applications, you must:

  • Clearly disclose that users are interacting with an AI-generated avatar
  • Not represent AI avatars as real humans without explicit disclosure
  • Provide appropriate context about the capabilities and limitations of your AI application

High-Risk Applications

Use of our Services in the following high-risk domains requires prior approval and may be subject to additional terms:

  • Healthcare and medical applications
  • Financial services and advice
  • Legal services
  • Critical infrastructure
  • Autonomous vehicles
  • Weapons systems

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this policy, please report them to hello@bithuman.ai. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

Enforcement

bitHuman reserves the right to:

  • Remove or disable access to content that violates this policy
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy
  • Report illegal activities to law enforcement
  • Cooperate with legal investigations

Updates to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or industry best practices. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
